Anette Schol-Bermel

Anette Schol-Bermel is a registered assistant in the La Mesa office of SoCal Wealth Advisors. She specializes in helping clients with all questions and needs regarding their investment accounts, insurance products and retirement plans. Anette takes pride in serving as a trusted go-to for questions, cash needs, information updates and building strong relationships through clear and consistent communication. Her main objective every day is to use her knowledge and experience to help our clients feel confident and supported on their financial journey.

Anette pivoted from international banking in New York to investment services when she moved to San Diego in 1994. Before joining the La Mesa office in 2020, she spent 26 years in multiple roles, from independent financial advisor to operations specialist at a FinTech company, to international wholesaler for a money manager firm. She has honed her knowledge and skills in Independent Investment Firms, RIA offices and wirehouses such as Morgan Stanley / Smith Barney.

Anette earned a bachelor’s degree in international trade in Germany and a post-graduate certificate in international banking in New York.

On the personal side

Anette loves to live an active life of service. From teaching AWANAS at her church, being a boy scout counselor for finance/life skills, volunteering as a CASA, to serving on the board of directors for her HOA - she is always finding ways to serve her community. She loves to camp, hike, and her passion is sailing (San Diego Maritime Museum as well as smaller boats). In addition, she makes time for various sports, cooking, reading, movies, crafts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
